Astrology offers us a unique understanding of our conscious and subconscious selves, primarily through our birth charts. In this method, small white cowrie shells (kavadi) are used for astrological readings. The astrologer holds the shells in the palm of the right hand, gently shakes them while focusing on the client’s question, and then throws them onto a surface. The pattern and arrangement in which the shells fall are carefully interpreted to reveal meaningful insights and predictions.
